Format: Paperback
If you are looking for a book about possible designs for space elevators, this is not the book for you. This book is really about project management. As a more nuts-and-bolts engineer who isn't really into project management, I found this book fairly boring and had to force my way through it. Fortunately, it is fairly short. I did get a few useful ideas out of it, but not enough to justify the time it took to read the book.

I found the formatting of the book rather poor and amateurish and thought it distracted from the message.

For hardware-oriented space nuts like me, I recommend The Space Elevator: A Revolutionary Earth-to-Space Transportation System.
