Insights in childrearing and education you will see nowhere else!,
By A. Ross (Fayetteville, AR) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Space of Love (The Ringing Cedars, Book 3) (Paperback)
The Space of Love, the third book of the Ringing Cedars Series, describes author's second visit to Anastasia. Rich with new revelations on natural child-rearing and alternative education, on the spiritual significance of breast-feeding and the meaning of ancient megaliths, it shows how each person's thoughts can influence the destiny of the entire Earth and describes practical ways of putting Anastasia's vision of happiness into practice. Megre shares his new outlook on education and children's real creative potential after a visit to a school where pupils build their own campus, cover the ten-year Russian school program in just two years and get official Master's degrees by the time they are 17! (The inside front cover of this book shows a dozen color photoes from this amazing school, with small kids building a fantastically beautiful mansions they themselves designed, or learning sessions with no adults present...) Complete with an account of an armed intrusion into Anastasia's habitat, the book highlights the limitless power of Love and non-violence.

obsessed with creating a space of love,
This review is from: The Space of Love (The Ringing Cedars, Book 3) (Paperback)
I began thinking about creating a space of love after the first book, but the book title "space of love" gets into the reasons why the land is our connection to the universe, God, our spirits, our ancestors, our children and future generations. It is profoundly simple.
All "things" in our material reality are made of and resonate with energy. When you interact with nature, you exchange energy. When you eat food that is farmed with chemicals and genetically modified seeds, harvested by "dead" machines and unconscious people, you are eating "dead" food...toxic food. It was not made "for" you but for profit only. When you plant your own seeds with love, in soil you love, and tend to the plants with the intention of being nourished by them, the food is healing, alive, and loving. There is plenty of science to back this up but even anecdotally, if you've had the privilege of eating fruits from your own tree or vegetables from your own small garden, you have probably noticed the difference in taste and experience... The most profound wisdom, for me, in creating a space of love, is for my family. I really resonated with the idea that planting a family tree that will grow and greet my great-grandchildren and their children. I would LOVE to have land that my ancestors had planned and created with love with me in mind....I would love to be able to sit under that tree and feel a connection to wise and loving elders who had thought lovingly about the future and me, or the potential of me... This is what we are all missing today. We are missing a connection to the earth that is timeless and rooted in tradition, love and faith. Creating a space of love is a practical, easy and immediate way we can all begin to claim our heritage and purpose on this earth.

Love is the Liberator (Says Mary Baker Eddy),
By
This review is from: The Space of Love (The Ringing Cedars, Book 3) (Paperback)
This third book deals with Megre's second visit to Anastasia within the Russian Taiga and also with his visit to some public Russian academies, which were built and erected solely by children and teen-agers who were motivated by the ideas of the first two books.
Resembling somewhat the Montessori Method the Anastasia school system has proved to be one of the finest educating approach ever, teachings which lead into higher levels of wisdom, and spiritual insight. Once a person is left without adult intervention he/she is capable of a greater discernment free from the restriction imposed by narrow minded parents. Those Russians kids not only build and run their own schools but also prove that everyone has the potential for similar accomplishments. He also says Anastasia was attacked by some armed people with the idea of enslaving her yet her higher self is able to paralyze the intruders by generating a vision of their own evil, mental picture that terrified and discouraged them to ever approach her space at the Taiga Is Anastasia with her positive imagery and love transforming a whole country or is it something else that is taking place here? The fact that these teachings are dogma free, in my opinion, is an essential part of Anastasia's success. Her systerm does not pretend to change others but to alter our mental self-concept of what is real. Anastasia embraces pure wisdom yet it is Megre who motivates her to talk and to reveal her modus operandi. Yet she, to keep herself pure and uncontaminated by materialism, does not want to leave her Space of Love in the Siberian Forest, and I don't blame her Natasha the idealist, and Vladimir the practical complement each other joining forces to generate one the most life changing set of books ever written. Note: John Woodsworth is the translator, and Leonid Sharashkin the editor.

This review is from: The Space of Love (The Ringing Cedars, Book 3) (Paperback)
This is the third book in the Ringing Cedars of Russia series. In the first book, we got to meet Anastasia and her extraordinary way of life. In the second book of the series, we hear the story of the writing of the first book, the arduous process of getting it printed and out to the people at large, and its tumultuous reception by a public starved of genuine spirituality. Afterwards, Vladimir makes a second trip to the taiga to meet Anastasia and their baby boy. In this book and in the next of this series, he relates his experience of that visit.
This book highlights the contrast in thinking between Vladimir and Anastasia in the very sensitive matter of raising children. This conflict starts right away as Vladimir takes along a host of time-saving baby care amenities with him to the taiga, only to discover that Anastasia has no use for them. The baby is happy and in no need of such sustenance, he is nursed adequately by a she-bear and a she-wolf, both of whom are Anastasia's trusted friends. When an eagle comes to give the child a joy ride high up in the air, Anastasia does nothing to stop it. When Vladimir expresses surprise at this kind of laissez faire upbringing, Anastasia gives him a vision of an actual institution where this kind of fostering was actually being practiced, in Russia itself, and very successfully as well. Later, in this book, Vladimir visits the school and sees for himself, the kind of initiative children are capable of when no one stands in their way of doing things. The school building of the aforesaid school was built by the students studying in it. But what is the connection between this kind of 'laissez-faire' upbringing and the removal of barriers between the learners and learning? According to Anastasia, it is 'the Space of Love'. It is the space created by the love between two people who come together to glorify their love for the purpose of creation of another of their kind and possessing the attributes of both. The space of love that allows those who occupy it, the freedom to be truly themselves, and, in their unhindered exploration of Nature, find their own place in the scheme of things. The space of love where the loyalty amongst its inhabitants is unquestioned and never in doubt. Evidence of Anastasia's love for Vladimir is seen in the prelude to Vladimir's journey into the taiga where a boatman relates the story of an earlier expedition when the former took some government officials to look for Anastasia with the intention of kidnapping her along with her baby and using the two for research purposes. How Anastasia took on their attack.....here I risk a spoiler, so I will not continue. What is so striking about this book is the energy that it carries. The love of Anastasia for Vladimir, is almost palpable. Also, every encounter between people, is described in minute detail, making certain encounters, seem even long drawn out. Megre has truly striven to present an accurate picture of Anastasia's ingenuous nature and personality as also her deeply abiding love for him. This book, like all the others in this series, is a fast read, it carries the reader on a current of its own. If you want to get into some really way out, eerily unconventional accounts on child upbringing, and which, even so, eminently succeed in the process, read this book. It will stretch your credibility but you will emerge with more trust in the innate Goodness of Nature, more alive to the multitudinous possibilities in the Now. This book should be required reading for all those wanting to enter the teaching profession, it will open hearts and minds to the need of the day. Warmly recommended.

Creating Love Space,
This review is from: The Space of Love (The Ringing Cedars, Book 3) (Paperback)
One of the greatest gifts of Book Three is the teaching that "The most powerful force in the Universe is the energy of Pure Love." Note that Anastasia says love is not a feeling, but an energy--moreover, an energy one can consciously create by getting into harmony with nature and building a space for love to blossom in one's own domain, the little piece of mother earth one tends. Children born into this space of love are deeply connected to humanity, intelligence, and creativity in a way that artificial settings do not permit.
Likewise, part of her radical approach to education is that artificial toys dull a child's mind because the battery-powered toy runs itself. On the other hand, when a child observes nature and plays with natural objects or animals, creativity is enhanced and the child's mind is opened to the energetic flow of creation itself. Some sections of Book Three include reports of events that continue to stretch the limits my mind has set up around what is possible. Two examples are an eagle carrying little Vladimir way up into the sky for a higher perspective on the world and Anastasia pulverizing a bullet headed toward her in mid-air. But perhaps my mind's limits need stretching. Whether every event reported is true as a actual event or only as metaphor, this book is a treasure! I am so loving the Ringing Cedars series! I wish it would never end and I know I'll get to the end too quickly. May all beings appreciate what Anastasia is saying and implement it!

This review is from: The Space of Love (The Ringing Cedars, Book 3) (Paperback)
Each book in the series gets better and fills in the spaces from the first Anastasia book. What is interesting, is that a lot of our friends and neighbors have been starting this path prior to reading this series. Maybe part of the reason we are drawn to the book series.

This review is from: The Space of Love (The Ringing Cedars, Book 3) (Paperback)
This is the third in a life altering series of "Anastasia" books. The concepts are new, yet ring so ancient and true. The series has become addictive to me. I force myself to read each book twice before moving on to the next - just to get every last drop. After I have read the ninth book, I'm certain I will start all over again - again! One may not be able to fully "go back to the beginning" as she recommends, but there are many suggestions for a change of mind and heart which would save our human race and our beautiful blue ball!

I loved just the fact it is written on the first page before anything else...
"this book consists of words and phrases in combinations which have a beneficial effect on the reader." I found great wisdom for my family of four and our future together. |
