I read everyone else's reviews and wanted to read the sample, just to see if it was truly as bad as everyone said. It was far worse. Just in the sample, I noticed where he changed from 5'7" and 170 to 6'2" and 200, just by walking through a back door. The main character was also clearly called "Mac" at some point, and the author carelessly did a replace all. The result was, again just in the sample, the main character gets to admire her "stoRyanh".

Aside from that, the gratuitous and poorly written sex is embarrassing. Avoid this book. Just horrible.

It looks like the guy has done a search and replace on the story and added a few extra paragraphs. VERY DODGY and VERY ILLEGAL.

The cover looks great and I commend the author for his military service. Sadly I couldn't get past the free sample due to the excessive hard core erotica in the text. This is barely a novel, at least I'm assuming this from the sample. 80% of it was very hard core sex. I've not read a mainstream military sci-fi novel that has been even partially as explicit as this book. Please, at the very least mention this in the description. It is strictly for 18+. Sexual content and editing errors aside I would give the book 2*.

The first ten were painful, and it only got worse. What the hell was going on. Im sure it was my mistake, as I thought i was buying a spacemarines story.

Last thing you expect is to have explict sex as the sample. I do NOT recommend this book it should have an explicit sex warning for younger readers

Saw this book when I was browsing on my kindle the cover looked pretty cool so thought I would try out the sample chapter. It was the worst thing I have ever read pretty much erotica the worst thing though is it wasn't good erotica. I re-read the author's note about how he loves how kindle has given him a chance to get his work out there he never would have had with a publisher don't find that suprising no publisher would ever publish it. Then I read the review and some guy compared it classic military fiction. Maybe it gets better after the first chapter but i doubt it. Nothing classic or real military fiction. Do not recommend you want a real military fiction check out the Clone empire series thats a classic.

The writing is sans edit, it looks as if it was written in one go, no checks.

In the first few pages the hero, morphs from 5'10 to 6'2, then it gets worse.

Might be a story in there, but could not get past the writing.

Feels like that first stream of words when writing a story, with spell check used, but never rewritten.

I should of read the reviews before I bought this XXXXX trash novel. I agree with the worst of the reviews.
The first chapter turned me off with the graphic sex and the lack of editing. The book improved some as it went along, but I did not finish it

Atrocious editing. Bad writing. No plot. Porn. I wish there was a way to completely delete it off my Kindle.

I was intrigued when I saw how low the rate of this book was. How bad could it be?

I downloaded the sample and was ambushed by a swift kick to the groin. I tried to back up from my assailant, already wincing from the sharp pain stabbing from my shattered testicles. In futility I tried to block the barrage of stomps but to no avail. I drifted into a coma to the rhythmic pounding of the jackboot reducing my balls to the consistency of spam forced through a fine mesh screen.
