a career peak for both groups, November 11, 2008
Individually, these two groups created some terrific electronica, but together they transcended any minor limitations of either.
Back in the primitive ages when CDs had to be removed from their cases and played one at a time in a large box called a CD player, I would make the effort to listen to this CD frequently for years after its release. The bleeps, beats and melodies have a timeless vibe to them, holding attention while creating hypnotic trances, a wonderful balance of machine and human fnords. No glitches, no cut'n'paste drum'n'baste, just music.
