Space O.P.A. is the French-language edition of Greg Costikyan's marvelous, "First Contact." This book tells the story of what happens when Earth is suddenly pulled into the intergalactic free trade milieu - existing business deals become superfluous, perceptions of value change - global depression. But, Johnson Mukerjii has a plan, make the Earth the galaxies' Taiwan! This is a fun and fast paced story that is sure to please the most discerning Sci-Fi fan!
