Swedens, Space Probe Taurus is a blast! , the band manages amazingly to deliver the most heavy, distorted, loud and of course fuzzed guitars, armed with a strong influence of Mc5, Monster Magnet, Blue Cheer to mention a few, SPT can turn the air into a dense atmosphere were your vision can turn blurry , the oxigen run the risk to coagulate and your ears could possibly bleed, lyrics are full of the required philosophy , sci-fi, cosmic topics, bikes and cars, women, all of this full of energy, Sweden is a blessed ground were many of the best contemporary makers of stoner rock are growing and offering the best music to the genre and even re-defining the path to follow, SPT are not new in the european scene the have a large list of previously released demos, kinda hard to find, I hope Sjoberg soon decide to re-release them gradually , as far as I know many of their greatest songs from SPT back cataloge are going to be included in their sophomore effort wich soon will see the light, im waiting and hoping.
