I purchased this calendar because of a long-time interest I have had in the Space Shuttle. Upon opening and studying the calendar, I found more than I had bargained for. John Sexton's photographs are spectacular! The clarity and detail in the excellent reproductions are amazing.Sexton's photographs have shown me views of the Space Shuttle unlike any I have seen before. I feel as if I am seated in the Commander's seat in his photograph of the Flight Deck. I feel as if I am Jonah's in the whales's belly in his image of the Payload Bay. He reveals visual aspects of the Shuttle that I have never seen previously. Sexton is obviously a highly skilled photographer, and has been fortunate to have been so "up closed and personal" with the Space Shuttle. I can't wait for next year to have this calendar hanging in my office! |
