A glam rock obscurity revived,

This review is from: Space Waltz (Audio CD)
Originally released in 1974, New Zealander Alistair Riddell's Space Waltz is big, sweeping glam rock balladry that owes a sizeable debt to early 70s Bowie, but isn't any less enjoyable for that. The arrangements are full and dramatic, the production is 70s analog warm, Riddell's voice is charismatic without being over the top and the melodies stick to the ribs. Beautifully crafted and passionately performed, Space Waltz is a must for anybody interested in that old fashioned 70s glam rock sound.
