Beyond its years,

I got this book when I was about 10 but didn't bother reading it til about 4 years later. I thinkI read it 5 times after that. The science in it is way beyond its years and firmly embedded in reality without all the magical pseudo-science that goes into most sci-fi, even to this day (cough - Star Trek, pfft!). It's exciting enough that I've just remembered it and am happy to find out the author has a huge back catalogue.

I read this book when I was around 12. I'm now 26 and build spacecraft. After 14 years it only took me two searches to get the name right.I can't give it more of an accalade. An excellent story with action and science. |
