I bought this reproduction of a 1950's toy rocketship several years ago. While it is a very nice collector's piece for older children or adults, I would not recommend it for younger children. Even though it has a simple, durable design, common back in the 50's, it is made of hard plastic which is easy to break in rough play. Also it is rather small, about 4" long. That said, I find it a great gift for baby boomers who would enjoy having the sort of toy they remember from their own childhoods.

This simple toy is fun for a collector it's small enought to fit in your pocket or keep on your desk at work.
I just keep it in it's orignial box it does remind me of how far we've come in terms of science ficton. the toy is basicly light plastic so no rough stuff the plus however is that there are 3 wheels underneath to push on any flat surface well crafted from the 40/50's era. |
