Wow, excellent RPG on pre-modern sci-fi, September 20, 2006
This review is from: Spaceship Zero (Paperback)
This game is excellent and very easy for anyone to play or ZM (Spaceship Zero's GM known as a Zero master). I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes old style sci-fi, were everything awesome is known as Atomic.....Like Atomic Rayguns, Atomic Zombies etc., think Forgotten Planet or the Day the Earth Stood Still from the 50's sci-fi genre. The rules are percentile based and are not d20(for a change) and all you need is the one book, even though thats all there is anyhow, you can find a few adventures to download on the Green Ronin SSZ website, they pickup were the adventure in the book leaves off, but are not required.
All in all an excellent buy.

Great little 50's pulp sci fi rpg, January 8, 2011
This review is from: Spaceship Zero (Paperback)
It's a good time , with all the flavor of 50's sci fi serials and movies.
The rules are fast, easy to learn, and balance the game pretty darn well.
I recommend this rpg over some other "clunky" rpg's just for the wild thrill of
it, sides if you ever need source material you can find plenty, but really if you love
space adventure with a camp twist. this game is perfect.
So strap on your atomic pistol, rescue a slave girl, and Frogmen beware!
This is a complete rpg you really don't need anything else sides this book, dice, pencils and paper.
Well worth having if you still game with a group , and well worth having even if you just like to
have some interesting reading.
