I am a short woman with short arms. This one has a long handle with a string. I love a wood back brush, and the others I have owned I have had to glue together because I suppose they make them for people to take apart or something...I wanted a sturdy one, one piece, and this fit the bill. The bristles REALLY make me feel clean and exfoliated and I love it. I got two, one for each bathroom. Shipper had it here like the next day! I was shocked that it was here so fast. VERY highly recommend this shipper@!

This Brush Means Business,

This is not one of those wimpy $4 back brushes. This thing scrubs and scrubs hard. It was exactly what I was looking for in a back brush. The problem with it is that the base discolors quickly around the bristles. I rinse it thoroughly after each use, but that doesn't seem to help much. It could be mildew forming very quickly which can be taken care of easily enough, but you would expect the wood base to be sealed better since its purpose in life is to be used in water. Works great, just looks gross after a short while.

Ever want to scrub your back and you cant reach it? This brush does the trick. Although it takes a little time to get use to the stiffness it is well worth the effort. My skin has never been so soft!

I really like the feel of the stiff brushes, but my arm reach isn't so great and have a bit of trouble getting to all of my back. Would like a bit longer handle and with a curve would definitly make it easier. Wood gets a bit funky also with age.

Great back brush,

If you like a brush with stiffer bristles, this one is for you. Soft gentle bristles don't work for me. I also like the slightly longer handle which makes it easier to reach around to my back.

When I first opened it I noticed a substantial flaw in the wood which, I thought, wouldn't effect the product. It did. Over many months, a crack has developed which, eventually will yield two small brushes, neither of which I need. On the plus side, it's a sturdy, heavily bristled brush, just the sort for a thorough scrub. I'm 6'5" and it reaches most of my back which many brushes do not. One thing that, after experience, I would have preferred is a canted brushing surface but that's nitpicking; If I'd wanted a brush with an offset head, they were there to be had. It's a well made piece, the bristles have stayed firmly in place and, when dropped, no damage to it occurs. Also whatever finish has been applied has prevented water from getting to the wood and causing it to soften. On the whole, it's not quite the brush I wanted but, in many areas, it does what I had in mind.

Good for exfoliating, but this thing is stiff. Kinda hurts your back when you use it. Also the bristles are a bit long for my taste.

This back brush is what I have been looking for for a long time. others I have tried were too soft or were of sponge material that deteriorated quickly or fell off the handle. This one is a good, stiff, scrubbing brush that can get to all those places on my back that I cannot reach.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to feel clean and scrubbed. |
