We've been using these as lighting in our closets for almost 2 years now. Works well to distribute light all through a long, deep closet that would be impossible to light with a normal bulb or fixture, and since LED's don't get as hot as normal bulbs we don't have to worry about any fire risk.The color of these is a very cool white - the product picture is pretty accurate - its more like florescent bulbs at the office than something you'd have at home. That may be a problem for some folks but has worked well for us. Only downside is the price. Back in early 2010, these things were expensive but there weren't other options - now, you can find several similar products on Amazon at a lower price. |
