This product is great! All rope lights worked, and worked well. We built a number of Christmas trees out of re-bar and attached these rope lights to the Christmas trees with zip ties. Result was better than expected. Great lights. The photo is pretty close to the actual light emitted.

Don't let the photo fool you, this LED rope light does not give off a warm white light as pictured. The photo has apparently been doctored to give the appearance of a warm white tint. Instead, the actual light color temperature is cool-white at best.

However, it is a well made rope light, and the color temperature is acceptable for my application. LED lighting is very, very efficient, and this rope light is much brighter than the incandescent rope light it replaced.

Just don't expect it to be warm, or look anything like the rope light pictured on this site!

I give this product two stars not because of any apparent problem with the quality, construction, or function, but because they are advertised as having a "warm" color temperature. It is possible that they are warmer then typical, very-blue-looking LED lights, but not by much. And at least the ones I received don't look at all like the ones in the picture here.

They are decidedly bluish white, and do not remotely resemble the warm color of the incandescent rope lights I hoped to replace with them. I hated the look of them so much that I took them down and will not be using them on the screened porch area as I had planned. Might use them outdoors or someplace where a warm-looking light is not needed.

Okay lights, just not "warm." Be warned.
