We got this 50' rope light to provide a low ambient lighting effect for our home theatre, and it works very well. It provides a nice warm glow to enhance the theatre experience. My only complaint is that one segment is a bit brighter than the others, but this seems to be a common problem with LED rope lights. I attached the rope to the walls using track mounts to keep it straight (see my other reviews) near the top next to the ceiling. I thought of using a soffit for indirect lighting, but the direct lighting from the rope works just fine. I use a remote control to turn the rope lighting off when the movie starts - might try a dimmer in the future, but it's not really needed.

We mounted these under our outdoor seating and steps. They have a warm bright glow that is perfect for evening get-togethers.

We like these lights overall, but expected the light color to be a bit warmer. They aren't so "cool" or "bright" but a bit more than suggested by the technical details. Also, the clips that come with this light string are really cheap and break easily.

Well made, well packaged and looks great! Make sure that you pay attention to the color of light you are ordering.

We put this in a soffit in our media room in the basement attached to a plug and a dimmer switch and it really gives you the movie theater effect.

Dims well and provides perfect amount of light.
