This is a terrific Osprey series volume dedicated to the SPAD VII aircraft and the aces that flew it. It's author, Jon Guttman, is regarded by many as one of the premier aviation historians. He presents a wealth of information on the aircraft's development and manufacture as well as the biographical and statistical details of the ace pilots. The Osprey books are well researched and supported with appropriate photos, artwork and drawings. This book is a handy reference to acquire for one's World War One aviation library.
