This review is from: Spain (Berlitz Pocket Guides) (Hardcover)
This is the second time I use a Berlitz Pocket Guide and I must say both times I have been well pleased. I recently spent two weeks touring Spain with my family. We started out in Madrid, traveled up north to Asturias, along the northen coast, then east and south to Zaragoza and Barcelona, then further south to Andalucia then back to Madrid. I must add that I took an escorted tour and used the book only to supplement and preview the places where we'd be going. In this, this little book excelled. Much of the information given us by the tour guide was presaged by the guidebook, sometimes even more information was given by the guidebook than by the local tourist guide. The guide contained all sorts of information on local history, customs, attractions, basic time schedules, currency etc. The guide is beautifully illustrated and written to the point for quick reference. If you need a quick guide to your trip in Spain, I highly recommen this little book.
