This ball is the size used by grade school teams. It is an outdoor ball so it may be a little heavier. Make sure you have an air pump and air gauge to get the pressure and size right.

My daughter said "the grip wasn't the best, and it didn't bounce as well as other balls she has had in the past". She is only ten years old but she loves basketball and the ball was for her so I thought you should hear her point of view. The ball has been serviceable and is very good for the price. I must also say that it has taken a beating with all my children and the neighbors children as well giving it a torture treatment every day , yet it still bounces and it still is in one piece.

I actually thought it would be of better quality but I am happy with it. I mean it is what was advertised. The ball has the feel of a rubbery material instead of leather but you can't go wrong with the price. My son is 7 years old and this is a greatbstarter ball for him.

First, I realize that these are an inexpensive outdoor basketball, so I wasn't really expecting a lot...but after only a day on our concrete driveway all 3 of the balls I purchased had gone flat. Not much else to say, not impressed!

Basketball works fine. Worth the price dont really have 20 words to say about every product i buy but that is their requirement when leaving a review

This basketball was the perfect size for my son who is 7. He had been using an adult sized ball, but I got this ball for him for a present, because it was clear the adult basketball was a bit cumbersome for him to handle. This spalding Bball has been the perfect size for him. He loves it. It bounces and holds its air well, is durable, and is definitely made for outdoor court/driveway play.

I purchased this as a gift for my nephew's fifth birthday. He loves it and plays with it often!

I purchased this ball for my 7 year old to play basketball. It arrived "soft", at which point I inflated it. It was soft again within about 30 minutes of use, after which I inflated it again, and confirmed it was the ball.

Amazon's excellent customer service allowed me to return the item for a full refund, hence I'm not giving this one star. Everything else from Amazon came out great.

Very pleased with this junior size basketball. It has a good cover, and the price was excellent. It is an outstanding value. My grandson loves it.

I liked this ball until about a week ago when it was poped when i shot a free throw. I mean this was mabey just a freak thing and i was just unlucky, but it did happen.
