I bought three of these balls after shopping around town. The stores I went to were sold out of the 27.5 basketballs or didn't sell them at all. Found it on amazon for the cheapest price I've seen. Told my friend's/basketball mom's about it and they wanted in. Worked out great!! We're all happy with these basketballs. They just need to be slightly inflated for better bounce which is common.

I purchased two of these junior size basketballs for my 5 year old twin grandsons. They are just the right size for smaller guys. The balls arrived very quickly and in good condition.

This item is a must buy for ages 5 to 8 years old. Unreal how the kids can shoot and learn to dribble with this ball. I would highly recommend this basketball.

Bought 3 of these for my kids, and they are very good balls to get started with. Good size, not too heavy, and seem rugged. Many memories of Spalding products back to my youth.

I bought this basketball for my 7 year old grandson. Usually he has trouble with large balls because his hands are so small. But he is dribbling away, inside, outside. A great ball for small hands

What more can be said. It is a great basketball for young kids. Now, if my kids would quit leaving them at their practices...

I'll echo what others have said. Great ball at a great price. My six year old son loves it.

This ball is just the right size and came at a reasonable price.
I could have gotten it a little cheaper if I felt like going to the nearest sporting goods store during a sale but I didn't.
My four year old and I are practicing our bounce passes with it now.
I only gave it four stars because I'm having trouble getting the psi right.

Great size for my 6 yr old to learn the basics of ball handling and dribbling.

When my grandson opened his gift, he wanted a basketball but thought this was too small. After a few shots at the hoop with and without this ball, he really preferred the youth size. I was just a little disappointed on how the ball looked. With the name of Spalding it just didn't look "professional" to me. But my grandson loved it and that was all that mattered.
