I bought these needles to pump up a Basketball and was very disapointed. The needles both broke the third time I used them. They are junk.

I bought these needles just to fill in my order to get Free shipping. However, they turned out to be the best needles I have ever had. They manufactured with smooth air outlet holes and smaller diameter than other needles.

You know what you're getting with these inflating needles. Just make sure you have the type pump which allows you to screw the inflating needle onto the end, and you're good to go (are there any pumps which don't work like this?).

Works just as you'd expect it.

Inflating needles by Spalding? Who knew they gave such great air? The way the slip into my hose, and then gently slide into the ball - it makes those bouncy spheres happy with joy. Before, my balls were just unhappy duds that wouldn't bounce more than 5" from the ground. But after meeting Mr. Spalding's Inflating Needles, they are renewed with life. Just don't allow your 10-year old boy to go anywhere near them because according to him, they will randomly bend at the joint and the other one will snap completely off. It's amazing and must be a true miracle that these will do this all on their own. Maybe they are fearful of his 10-year old fingers. Who knows, but it looks like these mischievous needles will need to be replaced on a regular basis in my home. Buy with confidence, but be cautious of their feeble reaction around your children.

This item is fragile, so be careful, do not break it when you inflate, otherwise troubles come.

Worked perfectly in my basketball. Bought a spalding women's basketball and put the needle into a car tire pump. It filled my basketball with ease.

I'm not sure how much these can vary between brands, but this worked fine for me.

These needles work great for me. I inflated a soccer ball using a car tire pump. The pump didn't have a place to screw the needle into, but it created enough pressure that it stayed in and inflated the ball without any problems. They are a great deal, and comes with 2 in case you end up losing one of them. I haven't had any problems that other reviewers are posting about, but I'll update my post if I end up having an issue.

Feel free to leave questions and I will answer them promptly.

I have a little trick that will save ball needles from breaking off. I have coached sports for many years & always have used this little technique. If you dip the needle about halfway or 3/4 through any jar of vaseline or some other type of inexpensive lub, the needle will go in very smooth & come out like a charm. After doing that, I have never had any more problems with any needles, even the cheap ones. I hope that helps people that have problems with breaking needles. Have a great day.

They're inflation needles... You'll lose them before they wear out or break. I think these were Amazone Prime, so I didn't pay tax, or $4 in gas to go pick 'em up.
