We recently got a pop-a-shot/indoor arcade basketball hoop which I've reviewed to death already.Lifetime Double-Shot Arcade Basketball System The balls that came with the system were okay, but half of them would deflate overnight. So I replaced all 7 of them with these mini spaldings causing the overall cost of my arcade basketball to skyrocket! But it's well worth it! They do not deflate overnight! These basketballs feel like the real thing. They are the universal pop-a-shot size which is 7 inch diameter, about 22 to 23" circumference, and in basketball accessory lingo, this ball is officially called SIZE 3. The size that boys High School, College and NBA use is SIZE 7. This ball is also perfect to get your toddler to start learning how to dribble.

I purchased this ball for my 21 month-old who is mad about basketball. It's the best quality I've found--a little larger and considerably heavier than the previous mini basketball balls we've purchased. I highly reccomend it but caution that it is quite heavy and would hurt if a toddler got hit or bonked in the head with it. You also need a bit of strength to heave it.

This is a great gift for a child who's parent loves to play basketball. It doesn't have the look or feel of a toy, but rather that of the real thing.

Just right for a "tyke" that wants to play with a "real" basketball. This ball works with the small kiddie goals though it is heavier than the plastic balls that come with them so it would work best for 3 years and up (or talented future pro players).

It's a bit heavy for small children hands, especially ones that have never played basketball before. I bought this ball but ended up putting it in the garage since I bought the Fisher-Price Grow-to-Pro Basketball and it also comes with a lighter ball.

I am a Preschool Teacher and we have a Fisher Price Hoop as one of the outdoor toys. The ball it came with always catches the wind and makes it impossible to really aim and shoot well. These Spalding Basketball's are not only the correct size for little hands, but they are EXACTLY like the adult ones. They can dribble, aim and shoot without the wind making any difference. So when they shoot they have a bigger chance of success of getting it in the hoop. They can actually "learn" the skills needed to shoot baskets rather than just random shooting and hoping it goes in. I give this product 5 STARS and the HIGHEST praise...so much so I even bought more than one. Buy with confidence as you won't be disappointed! Cindy W. Recently, the inflatable "basketball" that came with my son's "Grow-to-Pro Basketball" goal decided it would no longer hold air. This goal, which is similar to the "Just Like the Pros Basketball Set" is perfect for a 5-year old who wants to "shoot hoops" but can not quite use a real goal yet.

In looking for a replacement mini-ball, so many were "cheapo" rubber that didn't look like they'd last. Plus, he wanted a ball that was just like dad's official NBA ball. Well, after finding this I looked no further! The price was great, and with Amazon's free super-saver shipping, even better! When I got the ball, it did need some airing up, but once that was done it felt just like my ball and handled great! My son was as happy as any kid could be at the moment. This ball is very durable - made just like the official ball. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and should stand up to years of use and abuse.

So for anyone looking for a mini ball, I'd recommend this one. And for parents looking to replace a ball for one of these kid-specific goals, this ball will NOT kill the goal. It's perfect!

I bought this ball for my grandson who is not quite four. He loves it. He likes the fact that it looks just like a bigger basketball but it is just his size. I would absolutely recommend it.

It looks, bounces and feels like the real thing. I haven't taken it outdoors and probably won't because it looks too good to have ruined. We bought our toddler a Skilz basketball hoop and he'll use the ball on that once he's older.

Im from Australia and i ordered this ball on Thursday was here by Tuesday... way faster than i thought it would be and can track it the whole way. Great product was the best prices i could find on the net. Will use Amazon from now on for sure.
