For an outdoor basketball, grip, durability and balance, are probably the most important considerations. Spalding's `Street' basketball ranks pretty high in those key departments. You get a nice firm grip, the durability of the pebbled finish seems to be pretty good, and you get a nice bounce on various types of hardcourts. The grip may not be as good as Spalding's NBA `Legacy' ball, but it is very close. Like many outdoor type balls, it may feel a little heavy on an indoor court. It's reasonably priced, so if you need an outdoor ball, you really can't go wrong with this one.

Ball is well constructed and comes well packaged. Seems durable as well. Note that this is a rubber ball and therefore will be rougher on the hands than an indoor leather ball. I'm happy with it.

I'd just bought two of these basketballs from Amazon.com. They're rubber but look good. they were deflated upon arrival, so I got them pumped up and ready to play with my kids. The ball has good grip. However, I was very disappointed when they both deflated within an hour of playing time. I tried to pump them up and left them there inside the house to see how long they'll get deflated... It's not very long, within an hour, they were deflated liked when they arrived... I'm very disppointed. I'm hoping that I can replace them with the better one.

Thanks Amazon.com for it's great returning policy. I got the replacements within a couple of days. However, again one of the ball that came defective again. It couldn't hold the air and deflated within hours... I might have to return it for the second time. But for the one that works, it's a great outdoor ball. It has a good grib and good bounce. It doesn't get dirty easily if you take care of it. Cleans it with a wet cloth after playing and it looks as good as new. It's a great ball for under $20. I could have given it five stars if it didn't come defective.

I am sorry, but I trusted over 100 reviews that said this was was good, and I finally decided to get it.

The price was definitely attractive, but as always, you get what you pay for.

If you have ever played with Indoor balls like TF-1000, or quality outdoor balls Zi/O Excel Basketball then you will hate this ball.

The one I got was nicely inflated, but is not fully round, so the bounce is unpredictable, and the rubber consturction doesn't look that quality.

I am keeping mine just because I bought it at a good price ($10.00), and I'll use it as a second ball, but hope this will save some of you the time and money that you don't want to spend.

I looked around and my local retail sporting goods stores, and for 15 bucks, you got a comically bad basketball. One that looks like a consolation prize you'd win at a carnival for coming in 3rd place in the water balloon race. This type of ball goes for about 30 bucks in stores. Getting it for 15 bucks with free shipping, thanks to Amazon Prime was the deal of all deals. The ball is rubber, but it's a nicer rubber than anything I've ever used. It's perfect for outdoor play. I wouldn't use it indoors, but it's dynamite for outdoor courts. I don't know the longevity of the ball, but even if the tread starts to wear after a few months, for 15 bucks, I'll buy this ball again and again. It's a great rock, look no further for outdoor play. Indoor, I'd go with a nice synthetic leather ball.

I bought this ball for my brother since he wanted a street ball. Although it arrived really deflated, once it was inflated, it was a good ball. There's more grip on this ball and I bought it at $10.49 last month, so overall good ball for the price.

Ironically, I use this ball indoors. I have three basketballs. One for the gym, one for outdoor street ball, and one for my house. I bought this NBA Street ball to function as my house ball. I dribble this basketball every morning for like 10 minutes in the house to practice my ball handles. Not sure what to say about the ball. I gave it 5 stars because it serves it's function. It's an item that bounces and therefore meets my requirements. But in all seriousness, yeah the grip is pretty cool I guess. Nothing's wrong with the air or anything, it doesn't deflate fast or anything like that.

Ball worked fine for the first week or so. Now, it goes flat every day. If you pump it up, it still works fine, but will be flat again by the time you try to use it the next day. I guess you get what you pay for, and $12 for a quality full size basketball was just too good to be true.
