As most things, some assembly is required. Rest assured, this item doesnt take a rocket scientist or brain surgeon to figure it out. Very easy to follow assembly instructions which resulted in a FAST and SUPER EASY assembly!
The kids absolutely love it. My only regret is that I didn't get it sooner. One tip, make sure you pick up a glow in the dark Basketball.......... trust me! It comes in handy for those over time games ;-)

I have a five-year old who loves sports. This basketball goal is perfect for him as the larger goals are too high for him right now. This one takes the rim to about 6 feet (or lower), which is about all he can handle right now based on his size and strength. All the kids in the neighborhood love it and want to play. I think this size will allow him to develop sound fundamentals rather than the bad habits that would come from a taller goal.

This is really the best hoop available for youngsters to teens. The hoop adjusts from 5 feet to 6.5 feet, which is perfect for probably K-9. I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter, and she loves getting outside now to shoot some hoops! My 14 year old grandson is 5'2" and it is a good challenge for him at the 6-6.5 height. Good value for the money. The back of the backboard is lightweight plastic though, so be careful not to tighten the screws too tight and be gentle when laying it on its side because it will crack.

this seems fine for the age of our kids.. it's not as flimsy as the plastic ones.. and doesn't blow over in the fierce Illinois winds we get... i may regreat not getting a larger one in a few years though...

This product is very durable and priced right. My 6 children ages 2-12 all have gotten hours of enjoyment out of it every day for a month now. Takes only 30 seconds to adjust to different heights. It is big enough for parents to join in for a great family activity as well. Would recommend to anyone trying to keep little ones active and needing a fantastic way to get the whole family together.

This is a great product, the price is outstanding, and the quality of the product is the same, i got this for my daughter and my high school sons are having just as much fun with it. We spend countless hours in the basement playing with this product.

We purchased this for our 6 year old girl. It is a good quality product. We like the portability and the fact that it is adjustable as she gets older. Also, you can use a standard size ball instead of those mini ones. Would definately recommend it!

This is the perfect sized hoop for my 5 year old. He gets less frustrated and actually has good form when trying to make a basket with this one instead of just launching it in the air like with the full size models. This is a great option for those kids just a little too small, but love basketball!!!

Painless to put together (simple step directions included), easy to adjust to different heights and very sturdy...perfect size for our 2 and 6 year old!! Having different sized balls on hand has been a fun addition.

My son has this basketball fever now, and that was the reason I opted to purchase this item. After some research on the net I decided to go with this one. With nice and strong parts(for a 6 year old), the base fills with water or sand and is heavy enough even to drag and move around. Make sure you get a ball for the size of the rim. The rim height is adjustable and convenient depending on how challenging you want it. He likes it a lot. No complaints so far.
