This is the most useful spanish tool I've ever come across. It basically renders standard dictionaries obsolete. Its very lightweight, portable, and easy to use.

I bought this item from ebay (seller ID: "platera" or store: "Vende Miriam Sells") because it was not available from amazon. I am very pleased with it and only on rare occasions did it not have a word I put in. I do like the smart search and the way it checks for words with similar spelling if whatever word I put in had no results. 99% of the time it was from user error, either by me misspelling the word or a typo, if no results were found.

It is simple to change modes. There is an Eng/Spanish button that instantly changes between the two languages, so that you can input an English word and get the Spanish equivalent or vice-versa if you tap the button again.

The item's description page states that this translator will conjugate verbs, but I never figured out how to use this feature. Perhaps I overlooked something in the instruction booklet? It recognizes already congugated verbs and displays the infinitive, so it probably will conjugate if I can figure out how to tell it to. Other than this, it has been extremely easy to use.

It seems like it would be flimsy and delicate, but it has survived several drops. One was pretty far, in which I just closed my eyes while it was plummeting toward the tiled, hard floor thinking, "oh no, there goes 40 bucks down the drain!" I thought it would have shattered, but it was unscathed and still works fine. It lives in a case now.
