I loved the concept of this NT and was really looking forward to receiving it. Unfortunately I had no idea that the type was so small. The only way I could read it for more then a few minutes without eyestrain would be to get a magnifying glass. Maybe if you are young with great vision it would be OK, but for the not so young / nearsighted crowd it just doesn't work. So it's a reference book only and I'll keep looking for a really usable bilingual NT.

i was raised reading the bible, so it is the old & familiar. since i am trying to progress in my ability to read, speak & understand spanish; i am using this as an adjunct to a rosetta stone computer course. NIV is my favorite modern translation since it is modern & non-vernacular - no "hey man" nonsense. i am assuming the associated spanish version is the equivalent. i just need to get into the rhythm of the noun & verb reversals inherent in moving from english to spanish. it is great to have reading material, the story of which i already know well in this parallel format for this purpose. a drawback of all parallel bibles is present here - the print is quite small. unfortunately, i have begun the age of reading glasses... i'm waiting for my kindle reader for this reason BTW, but that won't solve this problem unless i get a second one.

I'm learning Spanish and purchased this Bible for a college class. I love how the Bible is interlinear. It makes reading and cross-referencing a breeze. Great purchase!

This Spanish/English parallel text combines all the advantages of providing a "crib" for the learner, with the added joy of reading a really excellent version of the material. The Spanish "version" of the Psalms in particular gives an insight into the problems and joys of translating. as King Alfred put it - translating "sometimes word for word, and sometimes sense for sense". It is a lovely Spanish version. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who either wants to learn and read some Spanish, or to a Biblical scholar who wants another version of the scriptures to get to grips with.

This bilingual volume of the New Testament, the Proverbs and the Psalms is very convenient for people who work with both languages at the same time.

One of my co-workers is bi-lingual, but more fluent in spanish than english. This will be a great help for her, not only to read the Word of God, but also to learn more of the english language as she reads it.

Great tool to help our growing Spanish population to learn the English language while hearing God's word in their language. Handy to keep around ready to share with new Hispanic friends.
