Spanish Is Fun is a required text for a Spanish continuing education course that I am enrolled in. It is an excellent learning source. I recommend purchasing the same book in the current/latest edition [4th edition] because along with the activities and lessons, space/lines are provided for you to write your answer unlike edition 3. I currently have both the 3rd and the 4th edition. They both have minor errors that our instructor pointed out but overall is a good product. If I could change anything about the book it would be to include answers to the odd or even numbered questions/assignments. Answer key for at least some of the assignments would be a great help and idea to add to the back of the book so that one could see if they are on the right track. Edition 4 comes with a cd-rom so you can read Spanish For Fun on your computer. It would be nice if this was an audible CD instead so that it can be listened to while driving. If you are a bargain shopper and the 3rd edition's price is better than the 4th edition then get the 3rd edition. You will just need maybe a spiral notebook to write your answers when doing the assignments. I recommend doing all the assignments for maximum learning. Spanish Is Fun is a great learning product that I would recommend to others.
