I purchased this product for use by my family. There were issues from the moment I opened the package. There were two discs with no indication which one should be loaded first or if they should both be installed. I decided to contact the customer service number which didn't work. I eventually used the online chat service which did put me in touch with a customer service rep who seemed more baffled than I was. In the end I installed them both and found that they were two different programs without any real instruction on what or how they were supposed to work together. I started with the guided lessons and found that there was absolutely no guidance whatsoever. Sentences in Spanish began popping up with no instruction on what I was really supposed to do or what they meant. I stumbled around and at no point was there any simple instruction regarding what I was reading, seeing or looking for. I chose this program over Rosetta Stone based on reviews I read and the more reasonable price. The little time I've spent on Rosetta Stone was much more instructive and easier to use. I returned the item to Amazon (which was an extremely easy and satisying process). I wouldn't recommend purchasing the program.

This produce is not for the casual learner who just wants some travel phrases. It is very thorough and, in my opinion, much more comprehensive than what I have seen from other products. You are also free to use the software in ways that make the most sense to you.

It's a little pricey, but it's worth it, imho. This product has actually been the companion software for my online Spanish class, and it has been quite a rewarding experience.
