Excellent, April 20, 2004
This review is from: Spanish military weapons in colonial America, 1700-1821, (Hardcover)
A classic book on the subject! Long out of print and long overdue for a reprint, Brinkerhoff's work is excellent. From fusils, blunderbusses, escopetas and pistolas to bayonets, pikes and even cannons, this is the best work on Spanish armament. My only comaplaint ? Color photographs would have been ideal. Museum staff, collectors, reenactors, historical artists and militaria buffs will thoroughly enjoy this book.

The Best, October 13, 2011
This review is from: Spanish military weapons in colonial America, 1700-1821, (Hardcover)
While not perfect and in need of some minor updates, this is by far the best book on the subject. It should be reprinted in any form. Not enough people have ever seen this book
