I purchased this set of 100 book rings because they were the best price for the least amount of shipping. When they arrived, the box was definitely a bit "roughed-up." It was bent, dented and held shut with a rubberband. Two people both commented "Gee, that looks like it's been returned before." I only needed the bookrings for a personal project so at least the packaging didn't matter. The rings themselves were stiff. I haven't had so many problems opening bookrings before, but this is also the first time I've ever bought a bulk box and not a smaller set from Staples. I appreciate the affordability of the item because a lot of places love to rip you off for this (Staples = $5 for 16. OUCH), but next time, I'll just buy from a more reputable office supply online company and pay the higher shipping cost.

Kind of stiff when trying to situate the clasp and bend into place. May be cheaply made, but work well for my use. Good enough for the price.

After buying small packs of binder rings at local office stores, this bulk purchase was a wonderful value. The binder rings are the same quality and I saved a fortune. :-)

I purchased 100 of these rings for less than $10 (shipping included). I'm a teacher and will use them in my classroom for task cards (similar to flash cards). This was such a great price, Staples had like 20 rings for the same price!
