I had my doubts as I (easily) assembled this; it looked too big. And then I had more doubts when I first fitted the bikes into it; it looked too small. But after a couple of weeks of use, I think it's "Just Right" - the kids (10-15) seem to be able to get their bikes in and out just fine, and that corner of the garage is no longer a messy jumble of bikes knocking each other over, which was the idea in the first place!

Okay, we have a new basement, that needed organizing, so I started with our bikes.
The box came quickly and I set it downstairs. No more than 10 minutes lapsed and my 7 year old son put the whole thing together. I put all the screws in and tightened them, but he did it himself and without the instructions! No kidding! Our bikes are all in order now and I smiled when I look at the rack! Have fun!

There's a good reason this rack is one of the cheapest available -it sucks. The wheel holders are designed so that the spokes rest against the rack, thereby placing all of the pressure on the spokes instead of the tires. This means that if someone were to bump into the bike while in the rack, or if the wind were to blow strongly, the weight of the bike would probably bend the spokes on the wheel.
