I have enjoyed reading Doug's book. In fact I bought 6 of them to give away to my clients. Life is so much better when you have that spark everyday!

Spark is a real eye opener for anyone who is taking a close look at their life and has a deep desire to live every day to its fullest. Doug makes a meaningful connection with the reader through his many stories and exercises for reinforcement.

I highly recommend Spark--you'll think differently after reading it.

A great gift idea! I read this book in a week and then thought about it for a month straight. I continue to go back to it and re-read certain passages. It really makes you think about how you decide to live your life and gives you the tools to make changes. I'd reccomend it to anyone...from High School Grads to Retired folks! It's a must!

What I loved about this book is the format - the clear explanations, followed by real-life stories, and ending with questions and ideas for applying the principles to my own life. The section on "Evironment" was especially good - glad to see more people recognizing the connection between our physical environment and our success!

If you want a quick read to jump start your attitude into the world of possibilites, this is a great choice. The lessons and stories motivate and empower you to capture that lost sense of wonder we all had at one time. Great book!

Self-help books can be so formulaic. Too many of them ignore the larger issue of self-worth and how it is tied to achievement. Mendenhall connects the two in Spark! I got the book about six months ago. I have a new relationship I am proud of; a new challenging job that is rich with reward; and so many other aspects of my life have fallen into place. I am more the man I want to be today than before Spark! And my work continues...

This book is intended to inspire and insight you into action. It is remarkable to see the clearly outlined examples in the personal stories and begin to realize that I have the option to choose my destiny. Well done!

This book has changed my life! It's so inspirational, and helped me remember how I used to be: carefree, happy, and in the flow of life. Spark is enjoyable to read, and I've actually re-read it several times in the first month! Doug offers simple, common sense steps to living a life I love! I recommend this book to everyone.
