When I first got this CD some time back, I played it over and over which is a rare thing for me.
I didn't understand the lyrics but these Balkan songs, many in minor key, totally caught my mood of lost love. IMO, Barbara Berry has about the best female voice I have heard. I wish I could find more of her work. Even though married now, I still like to listen to it from time to time and my wife really likes it too.
