Kitty Tsui is the author of The Words of a Woman who Breathes Fire, Breathless, and Sparks Fly. Her first book has the distinction of being the first book published by a Chinese American lesbian. Her second book, Breathless, won the Firecracker Alternative Book Award at the ABA in Chicago in 1996. Her third book, Sparks fly, was penned by her alter ego, Eric Norton, a gay leatherman in pre-AIDS San Francisco.

Tsui has been included in over 60 anthologies worldwide, including: Chloe Plus Olivia, Dyke Life, Outstanding Lives, Reclaiming the Heartland, Making Waves. Her work has been translated into German, Italian and Japanese.

She lives in Southern California with her Vizsla, Meggie Too2.
