Nice people; bad product,

The Spartan SATA SpartanEdge 1 Target DVD/CD Tower Duplicator D01-SSP (Black) arrived without a power cord and instruction manual. When I called the manufacturer (Spartan) I was told they would ship a cord to me and they did. I was advised an operation manual would be e-mailed to me. It was not. When I borrowed a cord from a monitor in my office so I could try the machine while waiting for a cord to be shipped to me, I discovered the duplicator would not work. When I spent over an hour looking for an operation manual online (because none was e-mailed to me), I still could not get the duplicator to work. I finally gave up and waited until I could call customer service in California (I am on Eastern Time). As soon as I told the tech that my machine keeps reading "cannot find target" he advised I was missing a driver. He offered to authorize me to open the back and see if I could connect the driver myself. I declined and shipped it back. I will say the customer service personnel at Spartan, like most people in California, are really nice. Other than the fact there was no power cord, no instruction manual, a missing driver, and I had to return the item, it was a great experience.
