A very underrated band from the 90's. This album rocks. More Beefheartian than the other noisy indie rock of the time and more freak-out jazzy. They rock harder than Pavement and they're more musically exciting than Sonic Youth. They sound like banging your head against something hard. In a good way. At various tempos.
