The Weirdest Thing I've Ever Read
Well, this was by far the most bizarre issue of Spawn ever released. The plot was well...irrelevant to anything in the entire Spawn series. But this issue was extremely hard to find so thank you Amazon for having it in stock. A talking pig, superheroes locked up in prison, and Spawn's supposed death all in one issue. WTF?

The Hilarious Missing Issue
I like that this issue is missing from nearly every collection of Spawn since its release. I think McFarlane realized how ridiculous it was, and has been embarrassed to include it in any of the Spawn compilations since (to my knowledge). I agree with the above comments, and there are plenty of other stabs, in following issues, at the corporate comic world Image Comics had...

The Hilarious Missing Issue, February 25, 2011
This review is from: Spawn, #10 (Comic)
I like that this issue is missing from nearly every collection of Spawn since its release. I think McFarlane realized how ridiculous it was, and has been embarrassed to include it in any of the Spawn compilations since (to my knowledge). I agree with the above comments, and there are plenty of other stabs, in following issues, at the corporate comic world Image Comics had so recently broken off from, such as the "Badrock" v. "Bedrock" and the bums singing the Flintstones song with the asterisks. So in the end, this issue has no relevance to the overall Spawn story or any story arc, I'm glad it wasn't included in the compilations. All in all, a worthy purchase for the die-hard collector to complete their collection.

spawn #10, February 7, 2011
This review is from: Spawn, #10 (Comic)
I didn't actually buy this issue from amazon but i have it. First i have to say i like spawn and is one of the only comics i decided to read in chronological order period. i also knew that issues 9&10 are rare because of legal issues normally not being reprinted or stuck in collections. so when i got #10 i was excited. but i have to say story wise it is kinda stupid and makes absolutely no sense at all !!!. in a quick nutshell its a story that isnt in spawn continuity and was basically a shot at all the other comic creators for selling there heroes rights and crap like that. but you only mildly understand that if you already knew that if not your like wtf does this have to do with anything. so i gave this issue 3 stars cause story wise it sucked. if mcfarlane and sim were gonna take a shot at creaters who sold out there creations they could have done it better. story wise would have gave it 1 star but i gave it 3 because its collectible. if your collecting spawn comics you need this issue. its neat to think this issue hasn't been reprinted at all in like 14 years.
