This is a pretty dang good figure. The detail is amazing, from the facial features to the cloth and furry costume. The articulation isn't bad. The one drawback is the brittleness of the sword. Just like the other figures in the McFarlane toys, you have to be very careful. However, that said, this is an awesome figure to have.

The neatest thing is displaying the figures with the others in the set. It looks absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this figure!

The title says it all...one of the best...He has the articulation, the detail and the durability in a figure to be displayed and posed or to be played with....

I highly recommend this figure to anyone who is interested in McF toys, because he's an 8" figure, massive sword and is worth the ... price tag, however now you can find him for ... less...

I own about 50 or so figures from McFarlane toys and I found that this is the most poseable of all the figures i have. The detail is amazing, and the craftmanship is nothing short of spectacular! I would recommend this to any one interested in Spawn or McFarlane figures.

this toy is cool!!! we are speaking as of looks, it makes a great gift!!! but as you see in the picture. his sword is not vary strong. but he is a good well built toy. he dose not break easyly. I had to order another one becouse my little borther broke mine. A word of adivce dont use super glue on this toy!!!
soon Samurai Spawn will lose his hair his beard his sholder plates. prob he will loose his legs, or head or something like that. this is if you handle him ruff and violently and slamming him aginst the wall or something like that.But this toy is hours of fun for kids not vary educational for kids. the only thing i see is there creativity skills. like i said before Samurai Spawn
is cool and everthing but his sword is fragle not that fragle. But dont put to much pressure on it. The frist day i got this toy i broke his sword i was so bumed.

Samurai Spawn IS the most visually dynamic action figure ever created! The detail on this dude cannot be matched by any other toy! Finnally we get an extremely detailed McFarlane toy that also has great articulation! Although the toy is ment more to be looked at, it is still fun to play with.

I purchased this spawn charater about a week ago and i love it. The Samurai Wars Series 19 is now my favorite serie Todd Mcfarlane has created! I have it on display and everyone who comes over think it's the most detailed of the Mcfarlane toys i have. I love it! It's the coolest Mcfarlane Series I'VE Purchased!

I've been a big fan of Spawn and McFarlane Toys and still can not believe the detail in these figures. I don't open them now, but used to and I'm sure that they are still very durable. I highly recommend this and all of the McFarlane Toys. I plan on passing them down some day and hope they will be enjoyed by others as I've enjoyed them.

McFarlane did some good research on the design for this toy. Having studied Early Modern Japanese History, I can tell you that samurais did wear monstrous distorted armor in this vein to inspire psycholoical horror in their fellow samurai in battle. The armor even has fur to represent where it has a coat on. Awesome figure, I recommend it.
