5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Graphic Novel, May 3, 2009
This review is from: Spawn & Batman #1 (Image - DC Comics) (Comic)
I purchased this graphic novel along with the DC version of Spawn & Batman, and the Image Comics version that has been illustrated by Todd Mcfarlane & Frank Miller is by far the better of the two. The story line is rather unique and without getting into too much details about the entire plot, it definitely is a page turner, and the art and coloring is nothing less than marvelous. You definitely get to see two different views on how these "anti-hero's" battle crime. Where Spawn could careless about destroying and killing every evildoer that comes across his path, while Batman does everything in his power to not take a single life while accomplishing the same goal. The two characters definitely hate each other, but decide to work together to stop the evil that is main story line. The fight and argue together throughout the whole storyline, yet in the end accomplish their goal. While Spawn wouldn't mind to work with Batman again if ever there was a problem that the two needed to tackle together, Batman on the other hand despises Spawn to the very core of his evil being.

So if you're a fan of Spawn, Batman or a combination of the two definitely pick this up and add it to your collection.
