You think you are getting something to help assist you in linking yourself with the beyond, but you are in all actuality getting something that reads more like something being explained that the author doesnt really believe instead. I love Konstatinos' other books, but this one left a bad taste in my mouth.

Speak With the Dead: Seven Methods for Spirit Communication, is actually a new name for the old book, "Contact The Other Side: seven methods...... Not sure if it is page for page the same material.
Konstantinos put everything here in a format to help someone who has never seen a ghost or had evidence of one appear begin to notice the subtle traces around them. Slowly but surely if you stick with the books methods until you notice them work you are sure to learn alot more about the afterlife, LIFE ITSELF, and ghosts. Their not the hollywood entertainment you are used to seeing... so it's not for those who want to be like "Ghostbusters" chasing spirts. But for those who want to study, I don't know of a better book. Easiest method in this book is the feedback loop with a webcam. I had some interesting results with this as I got down into the method. I still have not tried some of these methods but most are work very well. Konstantinos is very true in his writings. I can't think of a better person to write these techniques in the way he does.

Interesting read,

As a paranormal investigator with years of experience, I have to say that I enjoyed this book. It is well written and interesting. Konstantinos deals with each topic in enough detail to give you a solid base for your research. In my opinion, this book is a good basis for entry into the world of spirit communication. Each topic is discussed and then methods for use are outlined. The topics build on one another, which enables you to gain experience in each as you progress through them. Reading the book was fun and practicing the methods enables you to build your skills. I consider this to be a good buy.

Of all the books that Konstantinos has written, I'd have to say that this is, by far and away, one of his better books. If you absolutely have to read something by Konstantinos, then I think this is the best out of all of them.
For starters, I like how he broke things down into different "methods." Nothing is overly detailed, precise, and to the point with different methods within the "methods" in order to achieve results. I'd have to say that my favorite part in this book is Chapter 2, which goes into describing the methods in order to spot a fake medium and/or reader. This is a book that is well worth picking up.

This book was great!
If you want an informative and interesting book for speaking with the dead and communicating with them, this is it! I already knew some of the stuff in this book but it offered very detailed instructions for beginner spirit communicators and experienced alike.

Informative and well-organized; very interesting book,

"...I know this is a kind of book that people will give you side-eye for reading, but I'm really interested in this kind of thing, and I absolutely believe in the existence of an afterlife and ghosts. Do I believe all of the descriptions of the afterlife Konstantinos has claimed to receive from the dead? I take it with a grain of salt. It sounds reasonable, but it seems unlikely for someone to get such detailed information like this. Of course, he has been doing this for quite a long time now, and I haven't seriously tried it for myself, so what do I know? Most of my knowledge of spirit communication is from watching the TAPS investigators on Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International, which is a little different. They use only the scientific methods, which Konstantinos begins with in the book, but the later chapters deal with more spiritual methods that rely heavily on your mental focus, such as scrying and telepathy..."For full review, please visit me at Les Livres on Blogger! jaimeliredeslivres dot blogspot dot com

This book gives the reader several ways that they can communicate and find proof that there are spirits and we can, in fact, communicate with them.

I like Konstantinos quite a bit. With his books, all of them, its all the subject matter and everything is cliches put to legitimate books. Vampires are cliche, Summong Spirits cliche, nocturnal witchcraft and gothic grimoire cliche. It amazes me no one ever made something like this before. Put the author knows what he is talking about and has some charisma. I liked this book I was looking for something just like this where I could try and commune with the dead electronically. On a side note, I had been looking for Konstantinos' book Contact the Other Side and I finally found it, only to find out that it was retitled Speak with the Dead as it is here and given a makeover. Why didn't anyone do this before? Konstantinos must've been the one who started these now cliche phenomena.

Hi,
I was trying a way to keep myself in touch with my lovely daddy. I haven't see any ghost or something like that but I can see this book has opened my mind. I have used some techiques that really worked for me. It is a good book to open your mind and make you easily understand how you can communicate with Spirit. I will keep it next to me. |
