Lew is playing great as always. A rich and lively tone, and with a tons of colors in his horn...... But it is the same cd as But Beutiful.

Must Have! Defines jazz & rock n roll., May 25, 2007

Lew Soloff "Speak Low" or "But Beautiful" recording is a must have for the serious jazz/rock N roll authority. The Speak Low version was the initial release, which makes it harder to get and more collectible. Either version provides a musical segment of Lew's career that you must have in your collection. My favorite is Rainbow Mountain, followed by Speak Low, then there are the rest: Air on a G String, With A Song in my Heart, Hanalei Bay and Little Wing . . .so many (100's) more. Absolute Must Have !
