This is a great book for the novice as well as the experienced speaker. My current assignment requires me to gather ideas for speeches and put together presentations nonstop. I use this book all the time. My boss now carries a copy of it with him every place he goes.

Item was in excellent condition and I am very happy with the service. What was promised was kept. I would buy from this supplier again if the need arises. The item I bought was used but was in good condition. The book was: "Speaker's Library of Business Stories, Anecdotes, and Humor"

This is a well organized book of jokes and
anecdotes.

However, none of it is very fresh or informative.

It reads like clip art for speeches. It may
allow a breather to gather thoughts
but will do little to actually stimulate.

A good addition to a reference library, but
a well written case study has far more resonance
and applicability.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable and valuable collection of business humor anecdotes. I found them to be very useful on many speaking occasions. In the same business/humor category, I would like to also highly recommend the the hilarious satire: "MANAGEMENT BY VICE", as another great source of witty-sharp, humorous anecdote-like episodes and workplace wisdom --- in prose, easy-to-recall, apply and repeat brief verses and comic illustrations. The follies of mis-management in high-tech R&D were applicable to numerous business situations. Combining the wit in both these books, I found much to chuckle over and discuss with my close friends and on many diverse business social occasions!
