Why high frequency language? How would you feel if someone taught a foreign exchange student at your house the word 'antidisestablishmentarianism'? You would say 'Why did they teach you that word?' The author spends one entire side of one tape telling the student his life history. He then repeats all the English words at least twice. This is most annoying. English speakers know "go" and "can" upon hearing the words the frist time.As the lesson progresses he does not expalin the transfer from the present to the past or the future. He tells you the lesson is on page 13 when it is actually on 15. Highly over rated. Not worth the price..

I thought this was a particulary good Italian course. Like all Language Dynamics courses I have used, this was was very effective and extremely easy to understand and learn from.

Speaking High Frequency Italian was by far the fastest and easiest Italian course I have ever used. I especially appreciated learning how to speak short practical sentences after just a few minutes of listening to the tapes. I found this course to be not only clear and easy to use, but also wonderfully effective in communicating with native speakers. J. Jones
