An Inspiration through J Mack Stiles, An excellent read,
By Jeremy Potts (Kalamazoo, Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Speaking of Jesus: How to Tell Your Friends the Best News They Will Ever Hear (Paperback)
"Speaking of Jesus" is "Out of the Saltshaker" for this generation. The author leads his reader with great stories to a desire of improving one's own witness of Christ. Pick it up, read the whole thing in one setting. Get the inspiration to talk to those in your daily life about how you really feel about your relationship with your Creator and what He's done your life. jp

Not a formula, just the truth.,

This review is from: Speaking of Jesus: How to Tell Your Friends the Best News They Will Ever Hear (Paperback)
This is not a book promoting a new way to tell people about Christ. It's not a new formula, flow chart or outline. This book is amazing because it's an honest look at Jesus, who he is, how he lived and how we can imitate him. This book has motivated me to love others as Jesus does. If you're feeling like you're in a slump when it comes to loving others this book may be just what you need.

The most honest book on evangelism I have ever read.,

Styles puts evangelism in the world in which I live. The stories he tells and the situations in which he found himself reflect where I have been. From the Aspen experience to the conversation with Mike, Mack Stiles shows us how sharing our faith can be as natural as breathing. Forget the Thursday night witnessing regime. Read this book and be inspired to become a 24 hour 7 day-a-week ambassador for Jesus. People need Jesus and Mack shows you how to get that point across in a way that people will listen.

The book was refreshing to the heart of evangelism.,

The book was excellently written. It did, however, contain some weaknesses as do all books. As I enjoyed the personal experiences that the author offered, I was troubled in that there was only one account were it was not known if the person came to the saving knowledge of Jesus. A person can still evangelize even if no one accepts Jesus as their personal Savior i.e. Noah. Over all it was a breath of fresh air in the lungs of evangelism. May God bless the future readers as much as He has blessed me by reading it.

This is a great book! Very down-to-earth evangelism. Stiles is a great writer and a great storyteller. Good real-life examples. A must if you have friends who are not believers, and what believer doesn't

This book has always impressed me on so many levels and I bought it for a friend who also loves it. She appreciates the good service of the people who sent it to her in excellent condition and with a personal touch. Thank you, Amazon.

Give It Away!,
This review is from: Speaking of Jesus: How to Tell Your Friends the Best News They Will Ever Hear (Paperback)
I have owned three copies of this book and have read it twice myself. The first book I gave it to a friend that was heading over to China as part of a missions team. He said that he was not a fast reader and would probably not get to it. I talked to him later and he said that he made it through once and was going to read through it a second time and this time take notes. I never got that one back, so I bought another one and this time I read it for my second time (it had been a few years since the first time). I had a friend from Ethiopia over for supper and I gave him this book and last I heard he loved it. I bought another copy and this one sits on my shelf for either the next person or the next time that I read it. I have read many evangelism books and this is by far the easiest to understand and accomplish. Give the book away so that the Gospel will be heard to the ends of the earth.
