Vernon Alden has led a remarkable life. He sums up this journey in "Speaking for Myself". Beginning with humble roots, as a ministers son, he began to create his legacy in the Great Depression. A self made man, Vernon Alden is one of the few men who have achieved dramatic success and who have remained true to their ideals, living an un-compromised life. So many bow to the pressures of the corporate world, leading to choices of a lower nature. Dr. Alden has remained free of blemish and this memoir refreshingly, humbly and honestly relates this.
