This review is from: Speaking Naturally: Communication Skills in American English (Audio Cassette)
It's a good source of conversational practice for ELL students who want to feel at ease among Americans.
A nice abundance of dialogues to listen to. Great explanation of how to express yourself in formal and informal situations. Plus, good follow- up activities. One little note of criticism: the word choice in the dialogues isn't very common for conversations. Example: "a mashine"- instead of " a car", p.66. So ELL students may assume that it is a quite regular thing to call your car " a mashine".
