5.0 out of 5 stars Great study for a mixed group of women. March 20, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The lessons make a woman STOP & THINK about the way we use our mouths and what comes out of them. In today's world where the use of language has become quite free and often times offensive and acceptable. This study helps one see that words make a difference. Use good words instead of bad to edify those around you and yourself!

3.0 out of 5 stars a little dull September 26, 2005
Format:Paperback
Great topic, but the content is a bit dry. It probably could have been condensed into 4 lessons. A few seem to overlap. The lessons are also pretty short unless you have a VERY talkative bunch.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good inductive study guide January 28, 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Another good study guide from Fisherman. I love their style. If you like a study guide with thought provoking questions but not a lot of commentary, this is a good series to choose.

More About the Author

Poppy Smith was born in England and grew up there and in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Kenya. She met her American husband in Nairobi and they moved to the United States shortly after they were married. The adjustment to her new marriage and new country, combined with loneliness and loss of all that was familiar, brought Poppy to a defining moment with God. The resulting change, from anger to acceptance, from fighting God to seeking Him, led her into a life-long love of the Bible and the One it reveals.

Poppy is a nationally and internationally recognized author and speaker. Her books include Reaching Higher: Ten dynamic truths from Abraham that will transform your life; I'm Too Human to be Like Jesus; and I'm Too Young to be This Old (bestseller). Her Bible studies include Wisdom for Today's Woman: Insights from Esther; and Speaking Wisely: Exploring the Power of Words.
