When I first got this in the mail I couldn't help but dig out a D-ring and some 550 cord and test out my new belt. Well, I am here to tell you it can hold my 190's worth of weight suspended. The nylon is of a very nice quality, and the metal components are made out of a high strength steel with a rust resistant finish.

The metal components are actually very smooth, so they won't snag on your favorite jeans. And, the end of the belt is melted and angled so the nylon does not frey and it is easy to put through belt loops despite how wide it is.

I purchased one of these belts right before I deployed to Afghanistan. The belt they issued me from the Army was worthless and wouldn't stay tight. This belt, with the velcro closure, kept the belt tight no matter what terrain I had to deal with. After a year of torture and everyday wear, it still looks new. I bought a second belt to go with my Navy NWU's and I will never have another web belt for my uniform!

A little disappointed that I didn't look anything like the model in the photo. Stomach was not flat after putting it on. Other than that, I like it very much. It came in handy when pranking a neighbor, and I only had one climbing harness. I let my buddy belay me with the harness, and I wore this.

If you wear it properly, and wear it often, there is a very good chance you will sh** your pants because it is very time consuming to put on/take off.

my last spec ops belt lasted me 4 years, heres to another 4. Just don't wash it while your in afghanistan ;)... the velco will never work like it should again. If not for that, I would probly have never bought another belt. But it is nice to have a nice new one.

When a man is happily married to his wife for a period of time, you become "joined at the hip" with your woman who helps watches--and washes--your back.

The Spec-Ops Rigger's Belt allows you to do that, plus WTSHTF you will be able to save your treasured spouse to continue the joy of washing her back, too.

The Rigger's Belt is made to take extremely rough field use, yet comfortable enough for the Missus to wear. For survival purposes, when used with your high 'working load' survival rope and a safe 'biner (such as Amazon's Omega Pacific D Screw-Lok), the Rigger's Belt can not be beat compared to similar brands for craftsmanship, safety and price.

The old BDU-type belts can and should be tossed out (or given away) because they do NOT provide the strength and utility to get the operator out of a life threatening situation. Firearms holsters--both Inside The Waistband and Tactical Thigh Holsers--fit the Rigger's Belt with ease within the 2 inch belt width threshold. However, it is important to note that just as with any hip holster, you may be limited in wearing some types of ballistic body armour.

It is also good to know and support that the Spec Ops Rigger's Belt is made in the Good Ole' USA.

As for being joined at the hip with your wife? Being married only gets better with time when you can STAY safely connected using the Spec Ops Rigger's Belt!

If you want a belt that's going to last the rest of your life this is it! it is made so well they could end up burying you in it. or they can lower your coffin into the ground with it. this is exactly the same belt that we used in the Army, this is just like you can buy at clothing sales at any Fort the only difference being Amazon is cheaper.

I bought this belt right before my secound Deploment to Iraq. I attached a drop leg to this belt with six 30rd magizines fully loaded on my leg, and used like for 2 2 year long deployments in Iraq. I was an Infantrymen so I was walking a lot it held pefectly. I still use it. I have had fpr 5 years now.

I purchased this belt originally WAYYYYYY back in 2004, right before a deployment to South America. I tested out its capacity when I climbed a radio tower about 5 stories high and this was my savior (dont' try at home folks). I've worn this belt daily since then, in uniform all across these United States. I've also worn it to both Iraq and Afghanistan on combat tours. This belt has NEVER been uncomfortable, or let me down when holding pistols on my hip or anything else I needed to carry. The ONLY negative is going into a sleeping tent to get undressed and you hear the velcro RIIIIPPPPP and wake people up. I retired the belt after 9 years of wear because I'm exiting the Army and have no use for a belt of this capacity and weight in the civilian sector. It has never rusted, shown ANY wear, and the velcro still sticks. I am purchasing another Spec OPS belt for my role as a civilian contractor in Afghanistan and have no worries that the new belt will fail me.
