Sturdy Belt, Easy to adjust,

This review is from: Spec-Ops Brand Better BDU Belt 1.5-Inch (Sports)
I got this belt for IWB carrying of a Springfield xd9sc in regular jeans.
Although this belt is not reinforced, I find it supports the weight easily. The simplicity of adjustment, the rugged polymer buckle, and the price made this a great choice. The size ranges are generous proving an ease of adjustment and fit. Mine is a tad long, but it would be very simple to cut and melt the tip should I choose to do so. Much better to have a belt too long than too short. Simple design with no worry of parts making noise or falling off. Polymer buckle grips the belt better than I have seen before. Made in Texas, just like me.

great belt,

excellent product. Very high quality of the webbing and stitches. The buckle is made of the polymer similar to the one mostly used for handgun lowers. The belt is very light and silent when being put on. The adjustment is what shines,- unlike the belts with the metal buckles this one is infinitely adjustable as there are no holes. The tip of the belt is angled for easier insertion into the buckle and it is also melted for sturdiness . Unlike most belts this one proudly carries the label of the company and label with the contact phone number for customer service. Overall a very good product . I have a black one now and thinking of ordering other colors. Now, shipping is the other story,- it took my belt almost 2 weeks to show on my door step.

Held 200 pounds - stronger than standard GI BDU belt,

First, the instructions for this belt clearly say "Note: This belt is in no way to be considered a "Second Change"/Rappeling device. DO NOT USE FOR rappeling, climbing, or personal security, hanging/tie-in situations . . . This is a pants belt!"I bought it as a casual wear belt. However, I attached a D-ring and suspended myself (about 200 lbs) in order to test how strong this belt is. It definitely tested the integrity of the belt, but it did not break and did not slip at all. Although I would not try it again, the belt is stronger than a standard issue open faced BDU belt that I wore when I was in the military and worthy of five stars. It's comfortable. However, because it can be cinched tight, and it has no slippage, my extra pounds get squeezed when I sit down. So remember to leave a little extra room when fastening the belt depending upon your extra poundage. As far as sizing, if you buy the largest size, you can always wrap around the excess material (I have a 36" waist and bought the 46" - 54" X-Large) or cut the belt to size with a very hot knife. If anyone has experience with a "Second Chance" or "Rescue Belt" that I also can wear with casual clothes on a daily basis, please leave a comment. I would use it for emergency rappeling. There are quite a few available. 2115|R6W9YTUJQMA8S;2115|R10QR9DNETQER9;2115|R1RL39FYVAI3A9;
