I decided to do my first video review of this wallet just to show potential buyers some things you might not be able to discern from checking out the product online. It is a great product and I plan to do more video reviews of other products. One thing I didn't touch on in the video is the size of the wallet. It fits into all my jeans and also my Dockers dress pant pockets. I don't think it would fit in some of my suit pants however. It does not feel overly thick to me at all. In fact it is thinner than my old leather wallet. This is my first video review and I plan to do more in the future.

I recently purchased this wallet to replace a worn out leather tri fold which has been just one more wallet in a long line of worn out wallets. From the looks of T.H.E. Wallet J.R. my days of buying replacements is over, or at least over for a long time. Very solid construction with plenty of room inside for money, cards, etc. It holds more than 4 credit cards if you double up the cards in each slot and the wallet doesn't get overly fat because of it. The shark bite closure is easy to use and is more than ample for keeping the wallet closed. Another positive is that it's made in the USA and very well made at that.

I actually had this wallet when i was in the Army in 1995 to 2000- It got lost in a barracks clearing at Fort Polk, LA. Kind of went thourgh buying civilian style wallets since then, none of which ever came close to this wallet- never bought a replacement till now. Let me tell you people, everything this wallet says it can do, it does. The construction is mil spec- and all the features and compartments are thought out to minimize your interaction with it. It a perfect wallet- For those who may be off put by the military style- get the black one- and after all, its a wallet, not a fashion statement. Get it, youll be happy.

The product is built well -- Military style bullet-proof. I like the shark-bite closure because there seems to be nothing that can wear out (no velcro to come unstitched or fray; no buttons to come loose from the material). The bill length zipper in the currency area of the wallet is just the ticket to keep your stuff from falling out, and there is another zipper enclosure for things like coins or an extra key. The description noted four slots credit cards but there are five and each of the five and easily take more than one card.

As I find myself using the wallet I really like the ID window on the outside. When I am at the merchants purchasing whatever, and they ask me for ID, it seems that the way the wallet is naturally held, automatically displays the ID to them -- nice touch. There is a pocket right above the coin zipper that is made due to the credit card slots. Because of the way the wallet folds, this pocket is not subject to bending when you fold up the wallet. I found this very nice because the pocket is as wide as the credit card and a bit more deep than it is wide. In most of the wallets I have owned, if you were to put in an item larger than a business card, it would be subject to bending when you folded up your wallet. I have been able to put a couple things in that pocket that I did not want bent that are bigger than a standard card.

Since I am primarily a motorcycle rider, I like to have the wallet chained to my belt to keep it from being lost should it slip out (and to keep me from setting it down somewhere and leaving it). The eyelets give a great, durable place to put a one inch key ring on and affix my chain to. I have noticed the mentioning of thickness in the other comments and I do not notice that this wallet is any bulkier (empty) than any other wallet. In fact I would go so far as to say that since the wallet is a bit wider than most billfolds (when folded up) that it may even be slightly thinner because of the wider distribution. In their defense I will say the the shark-bite closure adds quite a bit to the thickness but only on one side of the wallet (which I don't notice because I place the wallet in my pocket so that the thicker part is toward the outer side of the pocket and not sticking me right in the rear when I sit down). Lifetime warranty seems straight forward and no-nonsense. I expect this might be the last wallet I will ever need.

I bought this exact wallet in 2004 when I was stationed in Iraq. I was, and am extremely impressed with the quality, storage room, perfect size, did I mention quality of this wallet. This is a wallet that will honestly probably last you about 7 to 8+ years before the plastic front card window will probably fail slightly, as mine is starting to, a little more than 7 years later. The rest of the wallet seems to be totally indestructible. I can't believe that I am writing about a wallet, however I am an extremely satisfied customer, and plan to buy a new one every 7 to 8 years if I have too. The other wallets from this manufacturer seem kind-of cool however this one can hold more than what you need, and fits perfect like a normal wallet should in any front or back pocket. Anyways... You will love this wallet.

Bought the wallet to fit all my cash, cards, and tool logic card tools. The wallet fit it all, but ended up being way too bulky to carry around in my back pocket, or any pocket for that matter - even cargo. It was tough getting such a bulky wallet in and out of the pocket too. Useful if you don't carry your wallet on you, seems better in your pack. Hope this helps.

This wallet is good. It has space for around eight credit cards, two separate opaque ID card holders, and the shark-bite closure system really works. It's a little bit large but it fits in all of my rear pockets well enough to carry with me all day. I like it very much. If you're running out of space in your current wallet and you want to get compliments on your next one, this is the wallet for you.

This is a great piece of equipment. Plenty of places and compartments to keep items separated. Made of strong materials and just the right size for a uniform or tac-pant pocket. Only issue is the zippers on the inside seem to make the wallet a bit bulky on one side...not a real issue at though.

This is a very very good wallet, awesome for the everyday use; I got mine in black so it looks elegant too.

The "shark-bite" keeps the wallet closed no mater what, enough compartments for all your credit cards (not just 4), ID windows are very clear, its a very light wallet but you can feel that its going to last for a long time
