5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent CD, is Easy to use
This is the most concentrated and easily searchable source of Special Operations information that I have found. I was worried that I would have difficulty using it (as has happened in the past with others) due to software difficulty, but this one was--as advertised--as easy to use as a music CD. Well worth the money! (Which seems rare these days.)

3.0 out of 5 stars Actually three stars and a half!!!
I got a little bit disappointment after I opened it.

First, they should write down the names of the manuals
Not just Fm-xx
I think seldom people could remember the title of each manual
Unless he is working for the TRADOC.

Next, they stuff something like Fm 7-7
"Mechanize infantry platoon and suqad" in this SPEC OP manual.
Did they out of...

5.0 out of 5 stars A lot of Bang for your Buck, April 17, 2006
This review is from: SpecOps - Special Operations Manuals on CD-ROM (CD-ROM)
If you were ever curious about the training these guys go through, look no further. These guys are professionals. As far as other comments, some must have outdated software, as I had no problem pulling up both the titles and FM/TM numbers. I will admit the packaging leaves something to be desired, but you could always do what I did: Go down to Staples or some other office supply store and for a few bucks, get yourself some durable generic DvD cases. I wouldn't worry about anyone reading this because one only has to look at the attrition rates at these types of schools to guess how difficult the training is. Once again, if you are curious, you can't go wrong. You get a lot of Bang for your Buck.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Review By A Navy SEAL, October 10, 2001

I think this CD-Rom is a great tool to use if you want to learn about special operations. It is easy to use, just put it in and go. Being a Navy SEAL myself I think it has everything you need to know.

Did they out of their minds?

And something like Nuclear Op/NBC Recon are NOT REALLY RELATED
to SPEC OPs.

Why don`t they put something like EOD in this manual?

If anyone got enough bandwidth, just go to TRADOC Library
and download those manuals...

1.0 out of 5 stars Um, is anyone worried about Al Qaeda reading this?, June 14, 2002

I stumbled upon this book when looking for the VHS for Black Hawk Down. I cannot believe that Amazon is actually selling this post 9/11. US military training manuals have been found in Al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan. Does Amazon think that Al Qaeda is too stupid not to look for training documents on their website? I would hate to see good soldiers die because their methods were known by the enemy.
